Elafonisi
Elafonisi is world famous for its unique pink sand due to shell fragments and its deep blue, shallow waters. The beach is protected by the Natura 2000 network due to its rare flora and fauna. The area is ideal for families and photographers who wish to capture its exotic beauty.
Preveli
Preveli beach is unique because of the Kourtaliotis river that ends in the sea, forming a small natural wetland. The palm trees surrounding the river give the feeling of being in an exotic destination. You can walk along the river or swim in the crystal clear waters of the beach.

Balos

Knossos
Knossos, the iconic palace of the Minoan civilization, is the largest archaeological monument in Crete. Here you can tour the rooms of King Minos, admire the frescoes depicting scenes from the daily life of the Minoans, and learn about the myth of the Minotaur.

Seitan Limani
Seitan Limani (i.e. port) is located in a secluded corner of Akrotiri Chania. It is a small cove with emerald waters surrounded by steep cliffs. Access requires a short descent on a path, but the experience and the view will reward you.
Eleftherna
At the archaeological site of Eleftherna you will see findings that connect Crete with the Homeric world. The area’s museum includes exhibits that reveal the wealth of ancient society.
Platanias
The centre of Platanes boasts a choice of grocery stores, souvenir shops and supermarkets with proximity to taverns, pizzerias, local bakeries and cafés for you to enjoy on your walk. Not to forget playgrounds and mini golf for some quality time with the children.
Rimondi
Krini Rimondi is a historic Venetian fountain in the heart of Rethymno’s Old Town. Built in 1626, it features elegant Corinthian columns and lion-head spouts that still flow with fresh water. A beloved landmark, it offers a glimpse into the town’s rich past and architectural charm.
